| I found out about THIS today, and me and some friends might actually be able to pull it off financially speaking. It's a 5 day, 4 night cruise from Miami - Cozumel -Miami (Jan. 24-29 2011). There's only been 8 bands announced thus far (see below) but there's supposed to be a total of 40. They say that each band will do at least two shows, and will also mingle with everyone during the trip. (When not playing, of course.) Prices start at $666 (of course) and go up to $2999. (Plus $245 for taxes, fees and all food--dinning, restaurants, bar, and 24 hour room service.) Also, you can get 10% off for signing up (no obligation) now and another 5% off for paying before June 6th. Discounts are on room. Not the $245 fee. Announced Bands: Amon Amarth Epica Sodom Sonata Arctica Stratovarius Trouble Uli Jon Roth Witchburner Fintroll Raven Saxon Moonspell Obituary Just imagine laying on the deck listening to Amon Amarth play Embrace the Endless Ocean while sipping a tiki drink out of a drinking horn with a little umbrella. Also +1 for 24/7 bar and 24/7 casino. Edit to add link. _________________ 06/02/08 - Dethklok--------02/13/10 - Flogging Molly 11/21/08 - DragonForce----02/28/10 - Epica 02/11/09 - Disturbed--------03/02/10 - Puscifer 02/17/09 - Slipknot----------03/03/10 - Puscifer 04/30/09 - Amon Amarth---09/10-11/10 - ProgPower XI 07/27/09 - Tool 11/05/09 - Dethklok/Mastodon

| Just gotta hope hard it won't be a 70000 tons Metal Titanic. Too many bands would be sunk down. Naww just kidding (or actually not ofc I hope it won't sunk), it would again be awesome to get to a fest like that. BUT I LIVE IN THE DAMN WOODS IN FINLAND! And there's a almost a meter of snow depending of place out there. Gotta try to melt them down with my amp. _________________ Echoes of yesterday, won't let these dreams fade away All the beauty I adored at the edge of the world Across the universe, time is to be reversed No shelter can be found, to this fate, we are bound Behold the final hour, the last times will be dour All life falls into gorge of the end of the world

| Speaking of Finland, this was posted today..... Before we take off on a world tour to pick up more bands for our line-up we thought we would need some more Finnish Trolls, so please welcome FINNTROLL to the line-up of 70000TONS OF METAL. 9 out of 40 and counting. Now we set sail in the Baltic Sea on our way to pick up the next band. Where may our next port call be...? You shall know soon! Stay tuned! _________________ 06/02/08 - Dethklok--------02/13/10 - Flogging Molly 11/21/08 - DragonForce----02/28/10 - Epica 02/11/09 - Disturbed--------03/02/10 - Puscifer 02/17/09 - Slipknot----------03/03/10 - Puscifer 04/30/09 - Amon Amarth---09/10-11/10 - ProgPower XI 07/27/09 - Tool 11/05/09 - Dethklok/Mastodon |

| Docking in Newcastle. Ashore we ran into some lunatics that go by the name of RAVEN. How could we deny them to come aboard? Well we couldn't. So please welcome RAVEN to the line up of 70000TONS OF METAL, The World's Biggest Floating Heavy Metal Festival. On and On my friends. 10 out of 40 and counting. We kind of like it here in the UK, we might even find some more great bands to add while we are on these islands... _________________ 06/02/08 - Dethklok--------02/13/10 - Flogging Molly 11/21/08 - DragonForce----02/28/10 - Epica 02/11/09 - Disturbed--------03/02/10 - Puscifer 02/17/09 - Slipknot----------03/03/10 - Puscifer 04/30/09 - Amon Amarth---09/10-11/10 - ProgPower XI 07/27/09 - Tool 11/05/09 - Dethklok/Mastodon |

| When our scouting parties came to South Yorkshire they did not get around to recruiting the leading lights of NWOBHM: SAXON will play two unique shows aboard 70000TONS OF METAL, The World's Biggest Floating Heavy Metal Festival. One night SAXON will play “Wheels Of Steel”, the entire album. On a different night, for the second show, they will play “Strong Arm Of The Law” also the entire album. With our Skipper's promise to come back to the UK for more, we left a scouting party behind and set sail again in the North Sea. 11 out of 40 bands on board. Course: The Channel. Where is our Skipper taking us? To the new world? _________________ 06/02/08 - Dethklok--------02/13/10 - Flogging Molly 11/21/08 - DragonForce----02/28/10 - Epica 02/11/09 - Disturbed--------03/02/10 - Puscifer 02/17/09 - Slipknot----------03/03/10 - Puscifer 04/30/09 - Amon Amarth---09/10-11/10 - ProgPower XI 07/27/09 - Tool 11/05/09 - Dethklok/Mastodon |

| On our long trip to complete our line up we decided to visit Portugal, birthplace of some of the greatest seafarers in history. When we sailed into the port of Lisbon, we were greeted by local heroes MOONSPELL. 12 out of 40 and counting. Soon we will set sail again to our next destination. Were are we off to? _________________ 06/02/08 - Dethklok--------02/13/10 - Flogging Molly 11/21/08 - DragonForce----02/28/10 - Epica 02/11/09 - Disturbed--------03/02/10 - Puscifer 02/17/09 - Slipknot----------03/03/10 - Puscifer 04/30/09 - Amon Amarth---09/10-11/10 - ProgPower XI 07/27/09 - Tool 11/05/09 - Dethklok/Mastodon |
